Dr. John Robert Taylor

It is with profound sadness that we have learned from his childhood friend and Probus
member, Phil Kronberg, about the passing of Dr. John Robert Taylor. He is survived by his wife
Pat and their three children, Cathy, David, and Peter, and their families.
John joined Probus in January 2017 and was an active Book Club and Senior Common Room
He will be sorely missed by his chums at Probus.

It is with profound sadness that we have learned of the passing of Mary Cleland. She is survived
by her husband Doug.
There will be a Memorial Visitation for Mary Cleland tomorrow, Thursday May 19 between 2 – 5
p.m. at the Turner and Porter Peel Chapel on Hurontario Street (west side between QEW and
MARY FRANCES CLELAND passed peacefully, in the early morning hours of Saturday, May 14,
2022, at the Trillium Health Partners, Mississauga, in her 79th year. She leaves husband Doug,
son Scott (Lesley) and grandchildren Madeleine and Jack. She was predeceased by her younger
son Stephen in 2017. Mary was born in Windsor, Ontario, in 1943. She always wanted to be a
nurse so she enrolled in the nursing program in K-W Hospital and graduated in 1965. During her
nursing studies, she met her future husband while doing her Psychiatric affiliation in St. Thomas.
Doug and Mary were married in 1965 and spent the next 56 glorious years together in Sarnia,
Toronto, Edmonton and Mississauga, until she was taken away, on Saturday morning. Mary is
gone but will never be forgotten. Thanks to the staff of Trillium Mississauga for their kindness and
attentive care for Mary. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter "Peel" Chapel, 2180 Hurontario
St., Mississauga (Hwy. 10, north of QEW), for a memorial visitation on Thursday, May 19, 2022,
from 2-5 p.m.
She will be sorely missed by her many friends.
