Aims of the Club: To provide regular meetings for retired and semi-retired men who appreciate and value opportunities to meet others, enjoy hearing guest speakers on topical subjects and visiting places and organizations of specific appeal to members.
Membership: Open to fully or partially retired professional and business men who are residents in the Mississauga and surrounding communities. The club’s success depends on the involvement of its members and you will be expected to participate in the organization and running of club activities.
Activities: Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month from 10:00 to 12 noon at the Port Credit Yacht Club to provide fellowship and to hear a guest speaker. Between meetings, social activities are organized and events are arranged, the latter which may include members' spouses.
Annual Dues: The annual membership is $70.00 for the period ended August 31. This fee is pro-rated for members joining in the second half of the year. Payment can be made by Interac e-transfer to applewoodtreasurer@gmail.com, no password is required. We will also accept a cheque payable to the "Probus Club of Applewood". In addition, there is a one-time administration fee of $25.00, payable when joining.
